FAUDI Module filters type f28

A Brazilian semi-public oil company relies on FAUDI filtration solutions, which have been optimally adapted to its specific process conditions in many of its refineries. In addition to a number of other fully automatic FAUDI backflush filters, a FAUDI modular filter system type F28 with foreign medium backflush is also in use to protect a downstream reactor bed.

Filtration is performed in parallel backwashable cartridge filters installed in a space-saving double filter bank.

This compact design allowed the local conditions with limited installation space to be taken into account, while at the same time ensuring maximum filtration performance.

In order to achieve defined backwashing conditions that are independent of the filtration process, backwashing is carried out by an external medium. This promises better cleaning efficiency than conventional backflush filters that regenerate with a partial flow of the cleaned liquid.

In accordance with our customer’s safety philosophy, each filter module is protected by a central safety device in all operating conditions. This ensures safe operation with maximum filter performance in a limited space.
